I was unprepared to scramble with my luggage and handbag among throngs of customers similarly searching to connect with public and/or private transportation providers ON THE STREET. In past experience with transfer providers, passengers pass an orderly line of providers making connections and receiving help with baggage. It took a half hour watching cars shuffling in and out of traffic, turning corners, and honking horns before I finally saw my driver on foot searching the crowd holding a small sign with my name. He overlooked me. I yelled, THAT'S ME! three times and gave chase as he turned his back and headed to his car. Other passengers helped hail him before he drove away. The drive from Manhattan's Cruise Port in New York to Newark Airport was swift and safe, but I will never again meet a transfer provider in such an insecure, unstructured, melee.
Driver was informative, but drove a little fast, but that just may be the custom in New York.
Great driver. Terrible traffic. Got across town without any problems and made our flight easily. Very comfortable ride. A little confusion on where to meet our driver but we eventually connected.
