Sheldon was a fount of knowledge and we found ourselves constantly saying” I did not know that” even though we have resided part time in the area for many years. Al, our driver handled the van with proficient skill and determination. A requirement when driving anywhere in NYC. Sheldon obviously loves what he is now doing and he communicates skillfully with the disparate ages of those he is guiding. He gave us and our 15 year old granddaughter an insightful and thoughtful tour of Manhattan from 96th all the way to GroundZero and back to our residential lodging spot. He offers humor as well as an intellectual perspective and clearly loves NYC and Brooklyn. He found great views of the city skyline from several vantage points. He insures your full attention by insisting everyone turn their cell phones off, except for photo ops in order to be able to impart his vast knowledge of the history of the city. It was a flexible tour giving us the chance to see things we particularly wanted to see yet offering him the chance to show us many things we never knew about. All in all it was a great day and we sincerely appreciate and applaud his efforts to insure we were satisfied customers. As with many things in NYC it was not an inexpensive tour, yet we think it was worth it thanks mainly to Sheldon.

Visited NY last week myself, my wife and son for his HS Graduation gift and found and booked this tour with Sheldon a couple of months back. I was apprehensive at first just due to the cost of the tour with only 3 of of us participating, but I can say without hesitation it was money well spent and would do it again in a heartbeat. Sheldon was very reachable prior to our arrival and took time to answer our questions and to help us make the most of our visit to NY. The driver/tour guide format made getting around easy and really gave us a chance to see and learn about the city, which made it super informative and fun. We all enjoyed it and believe it was the highlight of the trip. I think you’d be hard pressed to find any tours that would even come close to this experience. Thanks Sheldon!!!
