My husband and I took our second tour with Sheldon and Best New York Tours in May. We were headed to Europe for our honeymoon and had a long layover in NYC, so we asked Sheldon for a tour of Brooklyn. As usual, he exceeded our expectations. (We previously toured Manhattan with our family in March 2017.). The weather outside was less than desirable - cold and rainy - but we had a fantastic time exploring with Sheldon and G, our driver. We started in Queens, with a visit to the Queens Museum and the Panorama. We had no idea such an awesome attraction existed, and Sheldon did a great job introducing it to us. We then stopped for a heavenly slice of pizza at a hole-in-the-wall strip mall .... yet another Sheldon find we never would have known about. On to Brooklyn, with a quick stop in Sheepshead Bay followed by Coney Island. Time for more great food .... this time hot dogs and fries at the famous Nathan’s .... and while it was too rainy for any of the rides or games, we really enjoyed seeing Coney Island through Sheldon’s eyes. The same can be said for the whole afternoon. Sheldon is so knowledgeable and entertaining.... We wouldn’t want to learn about Brooklyn any other way!

I booked a private 4 hour tour of NY with Best New York Tours, as I found online at Trip Advisor. I saw that many people had raved about Mr. Sheldon, so I requested him as a tour guide for the private SUV tour. I was booking this trip for my Executive and his mother, and therefore was extremely cautious and picky regarding the agenda that I was organizing for their trip. Once I had purchased the trip, Sheldon immediately reached out to me with a telephone call, and his strong New York accent and gentlemanly demeanor quickly put me at ease. I wasn’t sure which sites to see or which parts of New York to visit, but he quickly gave me a list of the top sights that my executive would see along the way, a list that was far more exciting than if I myself had planned it. My executive and his mother absolutely adored the private tour, and raved about how interesting and knowledgeable Mr. Sheldon was. He knew the history of New York, had lived their all his life, and was proud of what he believes is the best city on earth. If you want to see New York like no one else, create lasting memories, and educate yourself on the Big Apple, Sheldon is the Guide, and Best New York Tours is the place to book it.
