Private Day-Time Tour of Savannah's Bonaventure Cemetery

Overview
While public Bonaventure tours are very entertaining and in depth, Private Tours permit for greater exploring opportunities and direct conversation and question asking ones with 20 year Bonaventure veteran and cemetery expert, Shannon Scott. You will just see more and learn more than the average tour taker. As Bonaventure is over 200 acres, public tours only cover a fraction of that whereas these tours take you into off the beaten realms. Tour also includes beautiful, signed poster art. Shannon Scott personally picks you up in The Buzzard Mobile and returns you to your place of start. Historic District only. Tour is good for 1 to 6 people.

If you’re visiting Savannah and looking for a unique adventure, Bonaventure Cemetery is it! But don’t just stroll through the moss covered trees and walled in grave sites...let Shannon Scott’s masterful storytelling enlighten you to the rich and famous occupants of this beautiful, haunting graveyard. Shannon was both entertaining and engaging as he guided us through the history of Savannah with his unique facts and colorful stories. The tour is about 2+ hour long, groups are small, it involves lots of walking and Savannah can be hot, so dress appropriately with comfy shoes. This guy is truly a master storyteller, so don’t miss this tour!

The cemetery reminded me of a garden with beautiful flowering bushes, huge oak trees with hanging moss and all types of creative and artistic headstones. People may think a cemetery is a scary place however you feel so at peace when walking through this wonderful place. Our guide Miss Martin told wonderful stories of the history and lives of the people of Savannah.
