Private Dog Sled Tour

Overview

Take an enchanting 1 hour dog sled ride through the woods and experience a bond between humans and dogs that is thousands of years old. Feel the dogs excitement as you pull up to the kennel, and are greeted by the team. Take your time getting to know the dogs as we explain what the tour entails and how to drive the sled. Then you and your guide will be off on a scenic sled ride. Your guide will stop throughout the sled ride for photos and to let you switch positions on the sled. After the ride you can pet the dogs as they run loose in the yard and ask us questions.

The dogs of Susuitna Sled Dog Adventures are more than working dogs, they are our family. We love sharing their passion with others and hope you leave our home filled with as much admiration and respect for these amazing animals as we are.

My gal and I had an unforgettable time with Rohn, Alyssa, and their amazing dog team. Their knowledge and love for the dogs, mushing, and Alaska are contagious. The experience was such a great memory that we'll need to book next season and make it a tradition.
