What To Expect

Newport Beach

Our Coast Guard Licensed Captain and Certified Marine Naturalist will welcome you aboard Surfrider. You will get a tour of Newport Harbor. Followed by a fast boat ride out on the Pacific Ocean through Newport, Laguna Beach, and Dana Point in search of the abundant Marine Mammals off our beautiful coast. You will be given a narration by our expert Marine Naturalist about these amazing mammals

Dustin is the Captain and this is the boat! We had a fantastic day, saw a huge pod of dolphins, a blue whale 3 times and sea lions. Dustin is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and very professional. We highly recommend Newport Surfrider.

We had a wonderful time on our whale/dolphin watching trip! Captain Dustin was very knowledgeable and knew exactly where to take us to see everything we had hoped we’d see. He did a great job of engaging the kids and answering all their questions. Would highly recommend!

Definitely recommended!!! The tour was so fun and adventurous, we were able to see a lot of dolphins and dolphins were actually swimming right next to our boat!! The captain was really knowledgeable about the nature habitats, and he was really skillful when driving the boat so that it was a comfortable ride. Definitely recommend this tour!!!
