My name is Emzy. I've been sharing my hometown with guests for over twenty years and I invite you to join me for an evening of cocktails and conversation all things history in two of the most storied bars in Texas.

After a few minutes in Alamo Plaza we will belly up to the same bar where Teddy Roosevelt recruited many of the famed Rough Riders in 1898, drinks in hand we then explore the oldest hotel in the Texas followed with a second round at another nearby historic bar chosen on your taste.

What To Expect

Alamo Plaza

We will discuss the world famous battle of the Alamo and surrounding area.

Menger Bar

We will grab a drink in the historic Menger bar where Teddy Roosevelt recruited his Rough Riders before touring the attached hotel and learning it's many secrets including its reported haunted history.

This tour was phenomenal, the tour guide's passion for the subject matter would get anyone excited about the history of San Antonio. I was Genuinely impressed and that was before the drinks, can't recommend it enough
