We have been fishing in Alaska our entire lives and have never had such a great experience as we did with Captain Mike. Four of us took the larger boat out for a combo salmon/halibut/crab trip and it was beyond fantastic. We were blessed with amazing weather and Captain Mike took us directly to all the best spots where we hit our limit on everything and even had a fun drive by a huge rock area for close up sea lion viewing. He is a knowledgeable and affable guy and we can't wait for next year!

My family and I were looking to squeeze in a salmon charter after our seaplane excursion and we only had a limited window of time with our cruise stop. Captain Mike was awesome to work with. He followed through promptly and set it up for the boat to pick us up right from the seaplane dock at 3p. The seaplane people even commended him for clearing it with them and said he was very nice. Captain Joey took us out and we couldn't have had a better time. My teenage son fishes but the rest of us were rookies, and Captain Joey had my teenage girls reeling them in and handling the nets. It was such a great time for our whole family with Joey and we caught 17 salmon in 3 hours. Then he dropped us off right at Creek Street so we could tour that on our way back to the cruise ship. It was a great day in Ketchikan, and I will highly recommend The Alaskan Catch, Cap Mike and Cap Joey, to all of my friends heading up there in the future! You can't get the full Alaska experience without some salmon fishing!

My Family had the best experience with Captain Ted and The Alaskan Catch! I took my mother to Alaska for her 70th birthday to do some fishing and some sight seeing. My brother who 47 and is mentally disable with autism and is in a wheelchair also was alone on our trip. When I schedule with Mike I let him know that we would have a wheelchair person and he was very understanding to the situation and said it would be no problem at all. He lived up to his word. We charted 2 days one 8 hour and one 6 hour We showed up 7 am on the first day and we were assisted in getting my brother on the boat wheel chair and all. Captain Ted and another captain (sorry don't remember his name) and his wife helped to lift my brother and his chair in the boat. Captain Ted took us straight to a hot spot and we started catching fish almost immediatelyšŸ™‚. 8 hours on the boat 20 fish. Great day for us, but most importantly Captain Ted was awesome with making sure my mother and brother were enjoying their time. He was very helpful and I felt very safe having my brother on board with him as a captain. He worked around the wheel chair and helping my mom when needed and never was frustrated with all the disabilities that came with our group. When we return back to the dock he help to get the wheel chair and my brother out and push him to the top of the ramp for us! We requested to get him the second day (my mom actual birthday) we went out and was excited to have him as our captain again. He took us out to catch halibut first ...my mom caught the first halibut her "birthday fish" what and awesome day. I would definitely use The Alaskan Catch and Captain Ted when chartering a trip.
