Overview

The price listed is for the entire van for up to 10 people. We live in Volcano and we are both National Park Certified Interpretive Guides so you are getting the best experience. Out of the 3 1/3 hours we are driving for only about 50-55 minutes.

We created this activity to make learning about volcanoes budget and family-friendly. There is so much to learn in the Park and so much to see it would be difficult to know how to prioritize if you are on your own. Ride along in our Mercedes van and see video footage of past eruptions. This tour is customized to your and your group's interests. There are easy hikes and more difficult hikes, there is a lot to see and do if you have a little help with your options.

Give you and your family an exciting experience you will remember and get more out of the National Park than you would if you were on your own!

* Dresscode: LAYERS and raincoats, mountain weather can change 20 degrees in ONE morning. We only provide raincoats for adults. *

Jodi (our tour guide) was absolutely wonderful in EVERY way! She was prepared for everything...snacks, water, bug repellent, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, even extra jackets. She even took pictures and sent them to us so we could just enjoy ourselves! With all the supplies and gear, you can only imagine the amount of knowledge (including little secret tid bits that very few guides know) she provided. Three of my close friends and I travel together every year. I know we will always talk about what a great time we had with Jodi!

Rob offered the sunrise tour opportunity and I am glad we took it! The tour was carefully planned. I loved having the park to ourselves. Rob had lots of interesting information to share about all our questions about the eruptions and various landscapes we saw. It was also wonderful to have the personal attention as a family. We also got some amazing photographs provided by Rob of our tour and family and the end (all included)! This was one of the best tours of our vacation and I would highly recommend it!
