What To Expect

Brookgreen Gardens

We drive from our meeting point along the scenic byway following the coast for roughly 30 minutes and then arrive at Brookgreen Gardens. Here, we will spend roughly 30 minutes walking around this peaceful garden setting as we take in the natural beauty of this area. PLEASE NOTE there is an additional cost for entry. From here we will drive through Litchfield Plantation and talk about the history of this area while enjoying the views.

The Hammock Shops Village

We will drive roughly 20 minutes from BrookGreen Gardens through Litchfield Plantation before arriving at the Hammock Shops. Walk around this cute shopping village as we take a step back in time to the easy life. Enjoy some ice cream and snacks as you contemplate purchasing a new hammock ;-)). We spend roughly 20 minutes here before driving 10 minutes to Huntington Beach State Park.

Huntington Beach State Park

We will drive roughly 10 minutes from the Hammock Shops and arrive in lovely Huntington Beach State Park. Enjoy the natural scenery as we drive through this beautiful state park and eventually stop at the beach for pics and a bathroom break. We will spend roughly 10 minutes here before departing back towards Myrtle Beach. On the way, we will drive through Murrells Inlet and stop for pics along the scenic overlook and then back to where the tour started.

What a fun day!! Craig was on time and his mini-van was exceptionally clean. BrookGreen Gardens was amazing, even in November. We loved the Hammock Shoppes and the drive through Huntington Park made the tour. Thanks again for such a lovely afternoon! We highly recommend this tour to future travelers!!
