Overview

The Native Hawaiian Dundee, Charlie, though carries an English name (due to European sailors), is a true professional Native Hawaiian guide. His Ancestors, from his grandma to his great great grandfather are all born and raised in the "World Famous Napali Coast Kaua'i"

He onced work for the D.L.N.R. Forestry & Wildlife Div. and Parks div. Later worked in the Northern and central part of California as a Ranger for about 6 years.

This is "not a one size fits all" kind of adventure! And it is definitely not a 'staged' adventure tour.
It is TRULY PRIVATE !

You will be the only tourist in this remote region of Kauai's Jungle Rainforest Canyon.

What To Expect

Anahola

Charlie, our Hawaiian Dundee, will hand pick your adventure sight based on your interests, activity level, and weather conditions. He will guide you through the tropical jungles and lush forests to refreshing streams, leading to a secluded waterfall and pool.

Anahola Hawaiian Land Farmer's Market

You will see and taste wild fruits (in season) along your journey. Learn of ancient and modern uses of “canoe plants”, those brought by first Polynesians. You may be fortunate and experience lathering yourself in wild Hawaiian awapuhi (shampoo ginger when in season) and rinsing off in the cool water beneath the falls. Also alien species of plants introduced by foreigners…some with tasty flowers.

It was amazing! Charlie a.k.a. Kauai Dandee guided us through the Jungle while teaching us about the plants, wildlife and history of the Island. This trip is a must for adventurous people. thank you!

Our excursion with “Hawaiian Dundee” (Charlie) was more than we expected. After booking, we sent our preferred level of experience and desires to Charlie. We drove in a well-equipped 4WD to our hike’s start. Charlie was well-versed in island history and flora. We learned about the area from a real native Kauaian. Our excursion covered trails in a natural setting, no people and 3 waterfalls with pools to swim in. What a dream! Charlie was most accommodating with our skill set and helped us succeed. We would come again and pack real good hiking shoes and a swim suit underneath. No photos submitted to protect the locations!
