What To Expect

River Ventures

After checking in at the tour center you will watch a brief video about the manatees, go over the rules of swimming and how to interact in a manner that is fun for both you and the manatees. You are then fitted for a wetsuit to prepare you for your snorkeling adventure. Your guides will photograph the highlights of your entire manatee swim tour from start to finish, both above and below the water. Upon returning to the tour center, a high-resolution picture CD containing images from your manatee tour will be available for you to purchase if desired.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

After reading all the amazing reviews, we had to book with River Ventures. I am so glad we did. We had a fantastic morning with Dave and Captain Tanner. You can tell they are very knowledgeable and care about providing a good experience for their customers. They took the time to find manatees that would interact with us to provide us with the best experience. Dave was fantastic with the kids, making sure they knew exactly what to do to make sure we had the optimal experience as well as not disturbing the manatees.

Hands down this was our favorite part of our trip to Florida! Trish and Wayde were so awesome and really made the experience for our group of 11. They were very knowledgeable, great with our kids (11,11 and 9) and really took the time to talk about the Manatees with our group. We will be coming back!
