  • How will I get around the city?
  • Most of the tour will require a good deal of walking, however, because the tours are exclusive to your group, you can and will go at a pace that you are comfortable with. There may be occasions when you will need to go from one part of NYC to another (Times Square to the Brooklyn Bridge). The most efficient way to travel is by subway ($2.75 per person, per ride). If you prefer a cab this can be arranged (no more than 4 people to a cab). The cost will be at the expense of the group, usually about $10 - $15 from most points within Manhattan. If you do take a subway ride, this will be documented as part of the New York City experience.

Amazing! We meet Marc outside Victory Theater on Times Square! Lovely guy! First we took some photos in Times Square, and the we took the subway to Central Park and took loads more photos in the south east corner of the park. We walked through a few streets in the upper east side, before taking the subway to Brooklyn bridge. What a photo opportunity! Marc was great at finding beautiful backdrops for our photos and taking the photos without loads of strangers in them. We ended our tour walking in Soho, Greenwich village and the residential area. Some lovely quiet streets, and we are so happy with the results! over 200 photos! Such wonderful memories! thank you Marc!

Family of 6 - kids 11-21 , always tricky to find a tour that fits everyone, as well as doesn't drag on. This was great from start to finish - I emailed in advance exactly what I wanted, quick response with a good price offer, easy instructions to meet and off we went. Marc did a great job of covering all we wanted to see - all while taking great photos - they felt a bit silly at times, but the results were well worth it - it looks like we had the city to ourselves! He gave a nice narrarive, but not overkill to bore the kids. Best yet, he really helped us plan the rest of our time with helpful tips for the city and subway that made our time without him very easy. Laid back New Yorker , great photographer and great guy. We are picky about our tours, but this one ranked at the top.

Marc took us on a very busy 2 hour photo tour on July 19. I love taking and having photos taken of my family. This tour came highly recommended and I couldn't resist The afternoon was wonderful. We spent time in Times Square, Central Park, Upper East Side and Brooklyn Bridge. The photos were outstanding and well worth it! Definitely a highlight of our trip. The tour is definitely very fast paced. There is a lot to do in 2 short hours. But Marc was very responsive and worked well with our family. We were a group of 7, including 4 children and my elderly mom who is easily confused. Marc continuously checked with me on tour speed and involvement of everyone with the the photos. He always made sure we weren't getting what we wanted out of the tour. The highlight was absolutely the Brooklyn Bridge. It was a busy, hot, crowded summer afternoon in NYC. The bridge was a zoo. But Marc took photos that made it look like we were the only people there. It was truly amazing. I also wanted to comment on a review stating the photos were just average. I couldn't disagree more. The photos were outstanding. However, keep in mind Marc sends ALL photos he takes. Which means there will be a handful that are not perfect. But that is normal with a photographer. With 162 photos received, less than 5 were out of focus or "bad" shots. Much better odds than normal! I'm so thankful we decided to do this tour. These photos will be treasured for a lifetime!
