How will I get around the city?
Most of the tour will require a good deal of walking, however, because the tours are exclusive to your group, you can and will go at a pace that you are comfortable with. There may be occasions when you will need to go from one part of NYC to another (Times Square to the Brooklyn Bridge). The most efficient way to travel is by subway ($2.75 per person, per ride). If you prefer a cab this can be arranged (no more than 4 people to a cab). The cost will be at the expense of the group, usually about $10 - $15 from most points within Manhattan. If you do take a subway ride, this will be documented as part of the New York City experience.
How will I receive my photos?
Your photos will be delivered via zip-file and photo gallery no later than 48 hours after your tour.

All tours are private. Guides will have temperature taken upon arrival of guests for reassurance they do hot have a fever. Since tours are private, we will not take the temperature of the guests. Guides will wear mask.

Best tour was NY by night from the Hudson, followed by the walking photographic tour, the photographer was superb and talented. Macey's parade was excellent, but the Italian Restaurant, whilst good, was over priced for what you actually had and the windows were partially obscured. You would have needed to drink yourself silly to make it value for money. We were asked to be there half an hour before the appointed time and all were left out in the cold and not permitted entry until 8.00am.

All tour operators were very good, knowledgeable and very polite.

What can you say about NY, the City that never sleeps. There are no words to describe the experience. Be prepared to walk and walk. It is easy to get around when you get used to the street planning. And the views from the top of the rock and the Empire State are amazing.

NY is expensive, but where isn't now-a-days. Food, variety and quality excellent as the service. However be prepared to tip anything from 10 to 20, even when at the bar.

All in all an excellent experience, to be highly recommended.

We’ve visited New York more than once and wanted to see it through the eyes of a local. We also wanted photos of us in New York instead of just photos of New York! You could not find a better local than Marc to take you where you want to go, teach you to ride the subway and get photos of yourself experiencing New York just like a local, if you tried. We loved the experience and learnt so much. I had a list of must see places and we did it all. Would definitely do it again. And we have permanent memories in the photos! From booking to meeting Marc at the arranged time, everything ran like clockwork and we felt completely at ease from the outset. A professional experience in every way.

Where do I begin? My mom and I did a private 3-hour photo tour with Marc 2 weeks ago and I'm still in awe of what an amazing time we had. First, let me say that communication and planning in advance with Marc via phone and email was a pleasure. I started planning my NYC trip a few months ago and contacted Marc with many questions by email, and he was always prompt, honest, and detailed in his replies. We went back and forth discussing my preferences and "wish list" for what we could fit into a tour, and he patiently answered all of my questions and gave me several options to choose from. He also took care to plan around my mom's restrictions- she has claustrophobia and therefore won't go near the subway, so Marc worked with me to plan how we could make the tour work mostly walking and taking a cab to Brooklyn. He really takes the time to listen to your wants and needs and tailors the tour to you- superior customer service! We had a truly beautiful Fall day for our tour during the week of Thanksgiving. We knew it would be a busy week in the City but since I was visiting from Arizona for the holiday this was the only week I could do, and Marc made it work. He suggested we meet early on a weekday and this was a fantastic tip- we were able to move around quickly on foot through Times Square, up 6th and 5th Avenues, around the Plaza Hotel and the Park with ease. We felt like celebrities, having Marc capture photos of us everywhere, even in the middle of the streets! He got so many great angles and priceless shots. I travel alone often around the world, and so many times I have to take annoying selfie shots or beg a stranger to take my picture and hope it comes out OK. This was such an amazing experience to have our very own personal photographer take professional pictures everywhere, and made it well worth every penny. Don't hesitate to book with Marc- we received well over 200 photos from a 3 hour tour and memories to last a lifetime. I had told Marc that this was an important experience because my mom and I are best friends, but live 2500 miles apart so every moment we have together we treasure, and now thanks to Marc we have an amazing collection of photographic memories to look back on and remember this time together. Cannot say enough wonderful things and hope to have another photo tour with Marc in my favorite city in the world in the future!
