Private North End Neighborhood Tour

Overview
At Boston Foodie Tours, we are proud to be a multi TripAdvisor Award winner, and one of Boston's original food tours.

Our North End Neighborhood Tour offers a view of Boston's Little Italy from the perspective of our founder, a native Bostonian, with topics ranging from best eats to history to crime to movies, and personal stories that you can't Google! We've included some surprises, too, including FOUR sites that aren't what they appear to be, and two hidden gems in a very unexpected place. And, if you're lucky, you might meet a neighbor or two!

Note: We regret that we cannot accommodate dietary restrictions at this time. If any questions, please message us prior to ticket purchase.

This was such an outstanding day. Audrey was an incredible host and in 4 hours we traversed the North End with amazing tastings along the way.. I learned so much and I loved the ā€˜back stories’ that you only learn about from someone that has been there and understands the culture and history. The food was to die for, one mouth watering experience after the other, finishing with a toast with Limoncello. Everywhere we went , Audrey was greeted with open arms….she truly is North End royalty. All the merchants and restaurateurs were so welcoming and offered us their food, drink, time, and knowledge. When it came time to part ways, saying goodbye to Audrey was like saying goodbye to an old friend. If it is not on your bucket list, it needs to be and I am going to put it back in because just once isn’t enough! Thank you for such an amazing day!

It was an outstanding day for this tour guide, too! At Boston Foodie Tours, we've said repeatedly, "the first time a guest, and the second time a friend", but often - as in this instance - it feels like we're joined by old friends from the get-to. The tastings are still the same, as are the stories, but, on this day, your tour guide's heart was overflowing with joy from introduction through the last "Ciao, Ciao". What a thrill it was to host members of Massachusetts Female Friends Over 50 on a North End Neighborhood Tour, and to not only introduce each of you to the North End's best eats, but also to top North End restaurateur Frank DePasquale, who welcomed us to his newest restaurant, Umbria, where guests enjoyed an impromptu private tour with the restaurant manager. Not surprisingly, the group had to be coaxed to leave Frank's personal roof deck! Several best eats and lots of laughs later, the tour concluded at award-winning Ristorante Limoncello with a delicious pasta course, followed by house-made Limoncello, which was accompanied by an iconic cannoli, and a promise to do it all again.

Walking tour of the North End with exceptional info/details about restaurants, history, chefs, food that was included, other food, etc. Couldn't recommend Audrey enough. We had the best food and definitely got more than our moneys worth in so many ways. Thank you Audrey!! We hope to come back and have already shared your tour/contact info with several friends. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Boston.

Thank you for joining us on our North End Neighborhood Tour. It was a delight to meet you after having hosted a Bachelor/Bachelorette Tour for your daughter and son-in-law just a few months prior. Etched in this tour guide's lasting memory is not only what a joy that you were to host, but also that your family ordered FOUR Monica Mercato's subs upon arrival at your hotel. The newlyweds couldn't wait for the tour!!! It's another Boston Foodie Tours first, and a story that I have retold to our guests many times. We're very appreciative of potential referrals, and should there be an opportunity to host your family again, we promise that we'll have more best eats awaitin', hopefully, ones that Uber Eats doesn't yet deliver!

Audrey was an excellent guide. She gave our out of town guests and MA residents a wonderful overview of the history, the fun facts, and the best of the best restaurant views. We went up and down the blocks and learned details of crime scenes and movie sets. Along the way, we made delicious stops at Regina's, Monica's, Bricco, Limoncello, and Modern. We learned many details as to why the pizza, the bread, the balsamic vinegar, and the cannolis are the best tasting. Everyone should take this walking tour!
