Private Segway Tour of South Beach

Overview
We are currently OPEN for private (you/family) tours… (I’ve had both covid vaccine shots and I'll be wearing a mask)— You pick the time you'd like to go.

All our tours are private, so it would just be you and your party + a guide (moi).
I've spent a dozen years as a Lifeguard on a number of Miami's beaches and know much of what it used to be like... and how it's been transformed.
I've been doing these Segway Tours since 2007 and have been awarded TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence every year since I've been in business i.e. every year since 2007.
And SEGWAYSOUTHBEACH was the very first .COM touring company to get approval from the City of Miami Beach to begin operations on the beach.
On South Beach we go 7 miles and it usually takes about an hour and a half.

After you book ANY day / time (you can always cancel before that day without any fee), we'll be able to communicate directly with you... to ensure your tour is private, change, update, clarify anything.

We were in Miami Beach for just 1 day and so wanted a tour to see the highlights of the area. Michael's 1-1.5 hour Segway tour was the perfect choice! He was entirely flexible to our schedule, responded really quickly by email to my questions and kept in touch on the day by text. We had ridden Segways once before a few years before and we picked up the technique again very quickly with a helping hand from Michael. Segways are really good fun and easy to ride, and meant we could cover a larger distance in a shorter time than by taking a walking tour. Note that Segways are actually banned from the Beachwalk in Miami Beach so we had to ride on the roads the majority of the time which concerned me a little at first, but the speed limits are very low, the roads were pretty quiet in the morning (so I would recommend a morning tour over an afternoon tour for that reason), and everyone gave us the right of way, so it was fine. We made regular stops throughout the tour to stretch our legs and drink some water, and Michael offered to take photos of us with some nice backdrops. My only regret was not asking him to take a photo of us on the Segways, oh well! Michael only offers private tours and this worked great for us for the scheduling flexibility, setting our own pace, and being able to ask questions/hear his tour commentary. At the end of the tour he gave us recommendations for lunch (which we really enjoyed and would never have found otherwise). We would highly recommend this tour, thanks Michael!

Manuel was a great tour guide. He was very informative and kept the tour funny. We went to different landmarks and he told us the history behind all of them. I would definitely recommend the Segway Tour to a friend.

We had a party of 9 (4 Adults and 5 Teenagers) and extremely enjoyed the personalized experience. Michael was the perfect tour guide and host to showing us around South Beach. He was attentive, informative and fun!
