Private Soul of NOLA 3-Hour Citywide Tour

Overview
Our most popular 3 hour driving tour is an overview of New Orleans, traveling in the comfort of our luxurious Honda Odyssey minivan. We'll start in the French Quarter, where the city’s colorful history began. We’ll continue to the Marigny and the Bywater, two charming downriver neighborhoods, and get a sense of their changing history through the centuries and in the 14 years since Hurricane Katrina. We’ll proceed up mansion-lined Esplanade Avenue towards Bayou St. John and to City Park, one of our nation’s oldest urban parks and home to the world’s largest stand of mature live oak trees. We will continue upriver along iconic St. Charles Avenue through the University area into the fabled Garden District. Approaching Canal Street, we’ll pass through the Warehouse Arts District, by the World War II Museum and the Central Business District. A condensed presentation, this tour is great for hot summer months, (we’re in air conditioning the whole time!) or for visitors short on time.

We booked a 3-hour walking tour, and Cassandra delivered a great experience! Her knowledge of N.O. history, geography, architecture, culture, food, etc went above and beyond expectations.  She was flexible and took the time to understand what we were most interested in, in order to make the most of our time.  As a first-timer to N.O., she helped make my intro to this amazing city both rich and colorful.  She also gave some great recommendations for local food and music. Highly recommend Soul of Nola for anyone looking for a fantastic tour to better learn about this fascinating city.

This tour was a superb way for our family to explore the city and all the key sights we were hoping to see. Derek is a phoenomenal guide who balanced a deep knowledge of New Orleans history with a good sense of humor and good logistical skills. All individuals from Soul of Nola worked to ensure a great end-to-end experience - from the planning with Cassandra, the driving with Theron and the flexibility of hitting the sights we preferred and requested. Amazing all around!

Cassandra did a great job, extremely knowledgeable about all neighborhoods and a great history of the city. Cassandra tailored the tour around our interests.
