Overview

Sometimes the best way to get closer is to get away. There’s no better place to spend quality time together than Hawaii’s North Shore, and you haven’t seen the island until you’ve seen it by horseback, riding through the forest trails and overlooking the ocean.
This is a unique and unforgettable experience, far away from all the noise of the regular tourist spots. You’ll see a side of Oahu that many don’t know about and enjoy a private picnic together, complete with delicious sandwiches on fresh homemade bread, fruit, and a bottle of sparkling cider. The highlight of the ride is a sweeping panoramic view of the ocean from our lookout point, where you can take in the full scale and beauty of the island. (If you can take your eyes off each other, that is.)

Long pants and covered shoes are recommended; bring a light jacket if the weather is cold
We ride rain or shine. If canceled due to unsafe weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund

Took my wife for a sweetheart private ride the day before valentines day. We both have ridden horses in the past, but not in around 15 years or so, and with not a whole lot of riding experience. Our guide was very nice, and our horses (Kip and Nelly) were both wonderful and easy going. Had a great picnic at a lookout, and the views were amazing everywhere you looked. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

Our tour guide Rilee was absolutely amazing and made the entire experience wonderful. The trail was beautiful, the horses were so wonderful, the picnic and location was perfect, and we could not have asked for a more perfect experience all around. We would highly recommend Gunstock Ranch!

Kiera was our guide and she was so pleasant and easy to talk to. The horses were awesome. My husband rode Winston who is huge but such a gentle giant. I rode Tex, they were both awesome horses. The views were beautiful and the lunch was very good.
