Overview

Sometimes the best way to get closer is to get away. There’s no better place to spend quality time together than Hawaii’s North Shore, and you haven’t seen the island until you’ve seen it by horseback, riding through the forest trails and overlooking the ocean.
This is a unique and unforgettable experience, far away from all the noise of the regular tourist spots. You’ll see a side of Oahu that many don’t know about and enjoy a private picnic together, complete with delicious sandwiches on fresh homemade bread, fruit, and a bottle of sparkling cider. The highlight of the ride is a sweeping panoramic view of the ocean from our lookout point, where you can take in the full scale and beauty of the island. (If you can take your eyes off each other, that is.)

My husband and I enjoyed a romantic ride with a private picnic and planted a tree celebrating of our lives together and our honeymoon! Killiam was an amazing and wonderful guide for both activities. We could not have asked for a more outgoing, lovely young lady to spend our day with. We were blest with exceptional weather and Killiam made the most of it! She is definitely knowledgeable about the area, environment and we had a blast on the ATV ride, planting after our horseback ride! It was well worth the investment and we plan to return again each year! Thank you Killiam for making our honeymoon an experience to remember for the rest of our lives! I would highly recommend this adventure. If you have any questions, they take great pride in making sure everyone is well taken care of!

If you are wanting a real trail riding experience with wranglers and horses that are well taken care of and happy, this is the place for you. Any one with horse sense call see right away that Gunstock is not a ranch that wears out the horses with constant daily riding. The horses are not broken down or depressed. As an experienced horse rider and a lover of horses, I recommend this ranch hands down. We will be coming back on our next trip to Oahu. Thank you Mackenzie for the best birthday trial ride!

My wife and I had a wonderful time riding with Kali. The ranch is huge, with tons of trails through the hills and plenty of opportunities for fast paced riding. Our view from the lunch spot was unbeatable. I would highly recommend riding with Kali, she was very personable and did a great job catering the ride to our interests.
