We recently returned from a trip to the beautiful garden island of Kauai. For the second day of our visit our travel agent arranged a full day private tour with Kauai Island Shuttle. Our driver and guide was John He and his wife are the exclusive operators and do not utilized other personnel for driving and guiding. John is an excellent and very knowledgeable guide who readily shares history and a wealth of information about Kauai where he has lived for many years. He also understood our photography interests and needs and often indicated specific locations. They typically take their clients to the eastern and northern or to the southern and western part of the island. We chose the latter reasoning that we could visit the northern section on our own, and John offered some helpful suggestions. In retrospect, if time and resources permit, we are sure that a second day for a tour of the northern part of the island would be well worth it. In summary, we highly recommend Kauai Island Shuttle to anyone who wants help getting to know Kauai.and a truly outstanding tour experience.

This tour took us to such interesting places. Waimea Canyon is spectacular, the colors gorgeous. The weather was wonderful. We took in the Spouting Horn and I waited for the wave to take a picture. Took many then realized the sun was shining on my phone and I was actually taking some terrible "selfies". Got that sorted out and waited too long for the "big wave" the bus was leaving. I could only laugh and recommend this tour.

John, is an amazing tour guide. We learned so much about beautiful Kauai he is very patient and answered our questions. The van is air-conditioned and very comfortable. It was a wonderful day and we left completely satisfied.
