This was an absolutely fabulous tour. So much more than we expected! Our private van was on time and ready to go. He gave us options when some cloud cover got in the way. He was a wealth of knowledge of the island. Our guide offered a number of options, patiently, in choosing a lunch location. He allowed us a bit of shopping time and I can't believe there is anything on the island he didn't show us! Take the tour, it was worth every penny!

Elena was an excellent tour guide. She was very very knowledgeable about the Island and she was always very quick to reply to my emails. Elena has a great sense of humour and takes a lot of pride in her work, including offering snacks, water and even travel sickness medication and ginger lollies for those windy streets into the canyon. I went on the Waimea Canyon tour where we got to see the beautiful Canyon (its absolutely stunning), some waterfalls and the beautiful local beaches where we saw a Monk Seal sun baking and some sea turtles swimming. Fantastic day out and worth every cent. Much better than going around the Island on a huge tour bus. I organised my flights to the Island and Elena met us at the airport at 9 am and had us back at 4:30 for our return flight. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone! Absolutely amazing! We were given options of places to go, if we were not interested in them Elena would offer somewhere else, she also comes prepared with different options for lunch, including the menus for each place! This tour would suit a variety of age groups as there was not a significant amount of walking to be done!

John was an excellent guide who gave us a lot of running commentary on all aspects of Kauai culture and people. We enjoyed Kauai Coffee Company immensely and learned a lot!! Waimea Canyon was clouded over, but with John's eagle eye, we returned to the main overlook and were able to see the beautiful cascading waterfall. We had a nice lunch, visited some shops, checked out a swinging bridge, and saw a sea turtle and a monk seal on the beach at Poipu Beach Park. We HIGHLY recommend this tour.
