Booked a private tour with John (a local, born and raised in HI). Would highly recommend canyon tour as it is a day filled with many amazing attractions. John takes excellent care of you and takes you to the best spots for photography. He has an extensive knowledge of the island and shares the neat spots that locals enjoy. Would also recommend John vs a bus tour because access can be very difficult due to narrow/winding roads in the canyon. He will take you on an alternate route that buses can't take and it's much more scenic. If you're coming for the day (cruise or short stay) you will see a great portion of the island and will be very satisfied.

We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour with John as our guide. Even though the weather was not cooperative, when we got to Waimea Canyon, John noticed some cloud movement. We got to see the three-tiered waterfalls when we returned to the overlook!!!Kauai Coffee was fun and informative. Finally, we saw a monk seal sleeping on the beach as well as a green turtle on the beach snoozing as well, We recommend this company highly!!!!!

This was a fantastic trip. John was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the island. The tour encompassed so many different places and he knew how the best sights to see and how to see them. He and Elena worked with us to accommodate a last minute schedule change without impacting our trip. Would highly recommend it!
