We did this walking tour with Phil, the tour was great and the guide was extremely knowledgeable, the tour was very varied and finished at the ferry building (we took the Larspur ferry from here, good way to see the bay). We always try to do a walking tour and this was one of the best. The walk was at a good pace and it was easy to hear the guide. Definitely recommended. It was a very hot day but the building gave enought shade.

We took this tour on a sunday and our guide did an ok job until he spent about half an hour ranting about the addiction problems in the US and how his homeless friend was stabbed in his own apartment, and many other irrelevant stories. He also told us all about his conspiracy theories as we all sat down and were forced to listen. He was using the walking tour as a platform for spreading his weird ideas. We left the tour after that because it had already been about 2 hours at that point and we were just entering FiDi. I've been on many walking tours and this was by far one of the worst.

Highly recommend this free working tour. Filip has so much knowledge about San Francisco and is so passionate about the city. Great exercise as well.
