George Washington's Mount Vernon

Accredited Tour Guide from Mt.Vernon will take you on a tour of the Mansion,explaining to you the history of the plantation. Outside Guides are not allowed to conduct the tour of the mansion.

Tunde was a great driver and tour guide. We talked so much that the trip went by quickly. Vehicle was comfortable and clean. Tunde had our Mount Vernon tour organized and we felt well cared for. Could not recommend more. Would use again without question.

I paid $500 for a private tour of mount Vernon the van picked us up and when I asked the driver if he was going to be our tour guide he said no when we got to Mount Vernon he would be getting the tickets for us and we would have audio boxes for the tour watch a film and he would pick us up at the end. See my pictures for the price of entry to the public $24 each times four would be $100 an Uber back-and-forth would’ve been about $50 everything that was provided at Mount Vernon did not require and could not require any additional guide from outside. So what was the $500 for? What where was the private tour that said via tour has been extremely responsive so far and suggesting that they would process a refund this is a third-party issue not buy a tour but they certainly need to vet their suppliers better
