Professional Stargazing in Joshua Tree

Overview

Our guides are experienced and knowledgeable and will take you on a journey through our sky. Learn to find north and the location of our seasonal triangles, constellations and planets. Using high-powered laser pointers, we will provide you an entertaining and scholastic experience, with stories about ancient civilizations, Greek mythology, and the evolution of the Cosmos.

Our telescopes are operated with a keypad and are as easy to use as sending a text. Telescopes are pre-programmed with our object list for the night. Pressing one button on the keypad moves the telescope to the next object.

We regularly view the following types and classes of objects: Galaxies, Nebulae, Star Clusters, Double and Binary Stars, Planets, Earth’s Moon, Globular Clusters, Comets, and more. Depending on timing, the International Space Station (ISS) and Starlink trains can be seen passing overhead.

The entire experience exceeded our expectations. The setting was beautiful, Devin was an excellent teacher and tour guide to the stars. She was able to easily answer complex questions, interject humor and switch between talking to kids and adults. The experience was SO much more that looking through telescopes (although the amazing telescopes were SUPER cool!) I loved laying back with my blanket and binoculars following Devin's laser pointer to experience an understanding of constellations like never before. They are going to send us photos of the evening later today. Easily one of the best vacation tours I've even been on! A shout out to the telescope tech, too!

Amazing & informative experience! Would highly recommend doing this tour, it is definitely worth the hour drive from where we were staying in Palm Springs. Devon was so informative, we learned so much! The setup was great and comfy. We had the opportunity to cancel because the forecast looked like it may be too cloudy but we decided to still go and it was perfect! We even saw a shooting star which was the icing on the cake!
