RAFT ADVENTURE - Na Pali 1/2 Day Snorkel

Overview

On a 5.5-hour tour we will take you to experience towering sea cliffs & pristine beaches of the Na Pali coast. Our Captain and Crew will share history, legends and knowledge of local marine life. Encounter playful dolphins, green sea turtles & much more. Migrating humpback whales (Dec-March). Conditions permitting, we will get you into sea caves, under the waterfalls and snorkel one of the best reefs on Kauai. Choose a morning or afternoon departure; both include lunch, beverages & snorkel gear. Activity description

Rafting excursions can be physically demanding, bouncy, bumpy & lot's of fun. Participants should be in above average physical shape. You need to be able to climb a sturdy vertical ladder to get back on the raft after snorkeling. This tour is very adventurous, Wet, Wild & Wow! Be prepared for an exhilarating day! All water sports and or Na Pali are conditions permitting.

Jamie and Sean are an awesome duo! We had the afternoon tour with some fresh water falling from the skies and Sean and Jamie made this a super-fun experience. This is a tour for the more adventurous spirit... like an ATV on the sea. Yes, one passenger couldn't handle his lunch, even though he took some Dramamine. I say keep your eyes forward and move with the waves. Phenomenal views under the sea caves. See the see turtles from the boat and with snorkels, if you are lucky. We brought out own snorkel gear. The tour provides dry bags. Oh, and the Na Pali mountainside cliffs are AMAZING, if not SPECTACULAAR. Jamie and Sean make you appreciate the native Hawaiian spirit, culture, and history. Well worth the money!

I had as much fun as I could have had vomiting off the side of a boat and I mean that in the best possible way! I did get to see sublime sights and snorkel with sea turtles which was truly a once in a lifetime experience. However it was a choppy day on the ocean so in spite of precautionary measures I would up getting seasick off the starboard side. It's fun but be prepared for the risk involved.

My wife and I and our 18 year old daughter did this tour on July 2nd, 2018 and it was simply spectacular! This is an "adventure" tour. You do about 75 miles round trip on a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat...think Navy Seals) powered by two powerful outboard engines. You'll get bounced around hard and soaked. You also explore caves, sea amazing wildlife such as turtles, spinner dolphins and whatever else the Pacific has to offer. There's a nice break in the action as they land the boat (they're one of three vendors on the whole Island allowed to do this) and you snorkel, eat lunch and do a hike through an old civilization where Polynesians lived a thousand years ago. However, the star of this show is the drop dead beauty of the Na Pali coast. If you thought the opening to Jurassic Park was impressive wait to you see it in person. I won't say any more about this as it has to be experienced. Our tour was expertly guided by Capn John and 1st Mate (also a licensed Capn) Chris. Chris and John did a great job of interpreting the history, geological and anthropological. In addition they're both just really cool dudes who love their job and are fun to hang out with. If you get a chance to do this while in Kauai do it.
