RAFT ADVENTURE - Na Pali 1/2 Day Snorkel

Overview

On a 5.5-hour tour we will take you to experience towering sea cliffs & pristine beaches of the Na Pali coast. Our Captain and Crew will share history, legends and knowledge of local marine life. Encounter playful dolphins, green sea turtles & much more. Migrating humpback whales (Dec-March). Conditions permitting, we will get you into sea caves, under the waterfalls and snorkel one of the best reefs on Kauai. Choose a morning or afternoon departure; both include lunch, beverages & snorkel gear. Activity description

Rafting excursions can be physically demanding, bouncy, bumpy & lot's of fun. Participants should be in above average physical shape. You need to be able to climb a sturdy vertical ladder to get back on the raft after snorkeling. This tour is very adventurous, Wet, Wild & Wow! Be prepared for an exhilarating day! All water sports and or Na Pali are conditions permitting.

We boarded our boat at around 7.30 with our crew members Greg & Chris helping us out with every question we had and with all the safety instructions. Given the day before being rough weather, we were so surprised that there were blue skies, clear blue & turquoise waters and incredible views of the landscape. Of course it is bumpy, but guys, if you‘re at least a bit in shape and affine to the ocean, it‘s really big fun! Otherwise we‘d recommend a more calm tour like the Catamaran offers. But then you‘ll never get to see stunning sea caves, close-up dolphins, sea turtles, monkseals or all of the fish we snorkeld with. Our crew had a great sense of humour and told us interesting stories about nature and landscape throughout the trip and provided us with sandwiches, fresh fruit and even cookies! I would highly recommend the raft tour to anyone who wants to experience the coast in one extremely fun way! :)

This was one of the best tours I have ever been on! It’s definitely not for the faint of heart. It’s an extreme and sometimes rough raft ride on the ocean with big waves and swells. If you enjoy an adventure and want to see some amazing views of Kauai, then this is perfect for you. Captain John was fantastic and made sure that it was a safe and fun ride. We saw tons of spinner dolphins that swam along the side of the boat, a few sea turtles, and a shark. We went into a couple of caves, snorkeled, and enjoyed the INCREDIBLE views of the Napali Coast!

We chose this particular tour as we knew, although slightly less comfortable than a catamaran it would be more fun and it was! As soon as we headed out the skipper spotted dolphins so we stopped for a while and watched a number of groups spin through the water, such an amazing sight! We also saw huge turtles and rays. We continued on around the the famous coast, with spectacular views and a stop off on a protected area where we heard some history about the Hawaiian people. We also stopped a couple of times for snorkelling and some lunch (drinks, sandwiches and crisps). Got lots of interesting info throughout the day and some fun darting in and out of the caves. Despite the very early start we really enjoyed our day with these great guys!
