Railbikes along Pudding Creek

Overview
Pedaling along our historic tracks, bathed in dappled sunlight and a light breeze, you’ll experience a new freedom on the rails, unlike anything else. Without the need to steer, you’re unbound, able to look around at the wonder of this untouched stretch of the natural world, spotting blue herons, osprey, an occasional lounging turtle, perhaps a playful river otter, a deer munching on the foliage, and during peak berry season maybe even a bear.

A unique activity and fun to do as a couple. Would have liked to have been spaced out more as a group at least for the first segment so we could enjoy the scenery on our own.

While it was a unique experience, I was a bit disappointed. The rail bike was extremely short. There was little to no exercise involved. We completed both hiking opportunities once arriving at the redwoods and it still felt like much of the time was spent waiting around. Definitely not worth the price.

I let my grandson drive. It was so fun trying to figure out how to work the bike and then once it got figured we had a blast. I enjoyed the short walk on the path also.
