Come on a guided adventure with lots of good times and breath taking scenery. Edisto Island is one of the last few untamed places of South Carolina. Not many people are familiar with it's vast unexplored rivers and tributaries and the overabundance of strong fisheries. Few people realize the rich history of this quite little island as well. These two things combined are what makes Captain Justin Ravenel tick. He grew up spending every second of his free time getting to know the secrets of the island and he like's nothing more than to share them with you. The only thing Justin enjoys more than putting you on fish is spending time with his twin baby girls and his AMAZING wife!

Before visiting Edisto Beach for the first time, my wife did some research and found Ravenel Fishing Charters. This excursion was everything and more. Captain Ravenel was professional, patient, courteous, and an all around awesome guy. Prior to the trip he explained what we would be doing and where we would be fishing. When I arrived, he was welcoming and ready to go. We saw lots of great wildlife and he was knowledgeable of the waterways, wildlife and their habits, and fishing. He said we were going to “catch some fish” and that’s exactly what we did. We caught some great fish and then he explained that we were “going to catch a shark!” And we did exactly that! His boat was very clean and accommodating and his knowledge of fishing and the waterways are on an expertise level. I will definitely use Captain Ravenel for future fishing excursions!

I took my teenage kids fishing with Justin. We had a awesome day on the water! He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and personable. I would definitely recommend him!

Justin is an extremely down to earth and knowledgeable fishing guide who got us onto fish right away. From Sea Trout, Red Fish, Bonnet Shark and Skate. My buddy Ross and I caught it all and plenty of it. Go with an open relaxed mind and let Justin give you one of the best fishing experiences you can have. We caught our limit, enjoyed the scenery, adhered to all the dock safety rules and had a ton of laughs. Book with Justin and you won't be disappointed.
