Overview

Come on a guided adventure with lots of good times and breath taking scenery. Edisto Island is one of the last few untamed places of South Carolina. Not many people are familiar with it's vast unexplored rivers and tributaries and the overabundance of strong fisheries. Few people realize the rich history of this quite little island as well. These two things combined are what makes Captain Justin Ravenel tick. He grew up spending every second of his free time getting to know the secrets of the island and he like's nothing more than to share them with you. The only thing Justin enjoys more than putting you on fish is spending time with his twin baby girls and his AMAZING wife!

I booked a charter for June 22nd, 2022 at 3:30 pm. We were waiting to get on board, when the boat pulled in, another group got on. When questioning why we were not getting on he simply said "oh I must of overbooked." No apology given or solution to be made. Continued with the group on board and off the boat went. Very unprofessional and do not recommend.

We made and honest mistake and we tried reconciling by phone and by texts but you wouldn't respond. We would never double book on purpose and we are sorry you couldn't go fishing that day.

Justin took our family out for father’s day and we had an amazing time. Justin is great with children! My one year old and four year old had a great time! Justin had the lines set up quickly and we got our first bite within minutes! The kids loved touching the sharks and my husband had a great time! Highly recommend and will definitely be booking again!

We can’t recommend Captain Justin and Ravenel Fishing Charters enough. My husband, two kids (11 and 8) and I booked an evening inshore fishing tour. Not only did he have us on fish within 5 minutes of throwing the anchor but his knowledge of the area and ecosystem around us was fantastic. My son was named his first mate and he was so engaged the whole time. When Captain Justin saw that my 8 year old daughter was a little uneasy with the sharks we were reeling in, he took us on a treasure hunt to ease her mind and get her involved as well. It was the perfect trip to end our family vacation and we will certainly be using Captain Justin again in the future.
