Kenai Fjords National Park

In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.

Fox Island

Fox island was lovely, all staff on boat and land were AMAZING! We saw over a dozen orcas! It could not have been a more perfect day!

Seeing MANY animals in the wild and a fantastic lunch on Fox Island! We were not expecting to see a whale and thought we would get a good sandwich for lunch. No, we have salmon as the main course and dessert too. Plus a fresh baked cookie just as we returned to port!

Amazing experience! Lunch was great and saw some cool wildlife/sea life. It was probably an hour longer on the boat than we would have liked, so get ready for a long ride. However, the views were spectacular, Fox Ilsand lunch great, and super friendly crew. Happy we did this!
