Kenai Fjords National Park

In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.

Fox Island

Your exploration of Kenai Fjords National Park is enhanced by a chance to step off the boat, stroll the beach and explore on land. This island is rich in inspiration and character.

The weather was not great but that didn't effect our trip. We saw sea lions, sea otters, puffins. Too late in season for the wales. But the trip was still great. The staff was friendly and informative. When my daughter got a little motion sickness they were very helpful. They took her to the back of the boat and offered her crackers. All of this helped and she started to feel better. Loved that we could sit inside and still view the sights. We had a nice lunch on Fox Island and learned about its history. Would go again but earlier in the whale watching season. :)

Great half day cruise with plenty of wildlife sighting. The lunch and cookie was a really special touch! The boat was comfortable
