Kenai Fjords National Park

In Kenai Fjords National Park, over half of the landmass is covered by the enormous Harding Icefield, a thousand-foot block of ice that dates back to the last Ice Age. The Harding spills out in all directions in the form of glaciers. Some stretch northwest into rugged hills of the Kenai Peninsula. Others—five of them, to be exact—reach as far as the sea along the craggy coast of the Gulf of Alaska.

Fox Island

Your exploration of Kenai Fjords National Park is enhanced by a chance to step off the boat, stroll the beach and explore on land. This island is rich in inspiration and character.

It was a great trip! Gorgeous views, a tasty salmon lunch (although they could’ve warmed up the bread roll and it would’ve been a lot better) and we saw a whale, puffins, some otters and seals. Definitely recommend!

The cruise and lunch were great. Saw orcas, humpbacks, porpoises, puffins, and lots of wild birds and glaciers. There was a big show at boarding to wear masks. However, there was a big family group with multiple kids who were not masked throughout the cruise. The kids were running around with colds and snotty noses. Some of the staff were not masked either. Seriously felt unsafe.

Spotted whales and many other species of wildlife plus got very close to bear glacial. Staff was amazing would definitely do it again
