We did the trip to Hana on 6 November this year. Travis was our tour director/guide. Travis made the day the best ever. I live in Australia and I have done the drive to Hana with family who live on Maui. Everyone in our group said it was the best day. You get to enjoy the day so much because Travis is the driver. From the moment we met Travis he had us laughing. His own laugh is infectious. Travis’ knowledge of Hawaii and its history is amazing and you can tell by the way he speaks he loves Hawaii passionately. He spoke about his own family with such warmth and affection. If you are considering the Road to Hana, go with Valley Isle Excursions and if you are fortunate enough to get Travis as your driver, you will have the bestest of best days.

Great tour from the time we boarded the bus till we stepped out of it. Travis was the best. There was 8 of us and everyone said this was a great tour. Learned so much about Hana and Maui and the landscape was beautiful from start to finish. He taught us Hawaiian words and much about the culture. It was the highlight of our vacation for sure.

Outstanding experience, from start to finish. We enjoyed every moment, every one-lane bridge, each of the 600+ curves, every *singing* waterfall, and above all, our amazing guide Travis, who felt us feel safe and taught us the meaning of Ohana. All the stops we made along our trip were special and will forever remain in our heart.
