Get that front row feeling for highlights of 30+ years of induction ceremonies. This epic hall of fame pays homage to our inductees through an immersive concert-quality production and a space for fans to share their own stories. Another milestone being celebrated is 50+ years since the start of Rolling Stone Magazine, the counterculture start up that rose to the top by covering the cross-section of music, politics and pop culture. Here's a short list of our permanent, featured exhibits that help us show off our collection: • Roots of Rock & Roll • The Beat Goes On: an interactive exhibit to show who influenced your fav band • Elvis • Legends of Rock: featuring Guns N' Roses, David Bowie, the Supremes, Metallica, Michael Jackson, Parliament Funkadelic and many more • Cities and Sounds: Motown, Psychedelic, Punk, Grunge... The unmistakable styles that put cities across the country and across the pond on the musical map. • The Beatles • The Rolling Stones • Jimi Hendrix

I'm not particularly a music lover, but gained adulthood in the early 70's. So I have my favorites and memories. This "Rock Hall" is a fabulous display and immersion into history and the transitions along the way to current music trends. Well worth the cost. Plan almost 4 hours to immerse yourself in the experience. Do it!

In Cleveland for the first time and a quick weekend means you have to go. We originally thought we'd visit during the predicted rain, but the weather ended up being beautiful, which made for a lovely walk with my rock-n-roll girlfriend. Purchase your tickets ahead of time on your phone and you can breeze on in! We followed the signs that point you to start in the ground floor, but I'd recommend heading to the top and working your way backwards. We were there in the morning and it was quite crowded, but at least people were masked up. There is an amazing amount of memorabilia on display. Please don't reach into the display! That alarm is annoying! We were a bit overwhelmed with all the visual noise by the time we were done. On one of the upper floors you - the garage - you can actually play instruments and jam with a band! We skipped the covid covered guitars, but it looked like fun!

I was sadly disappointed by my experience and had much higher expectations for the 3 hour drive it took to get there. I love rock music of the 60s 70’ 80s and some 90s when it was pure and artists had to know how to play their instruments. The ground floor was a great start, it had a little of this and that about rock. I thought it was really heavy on the R&B and was surprised about all the wall space given to Rap artists and very little given to True rock artists. I was not a fan of the huge amount of space given to the NFL half time show. But after the ground floor it pretty much falls flat and not worth the $90.00 we paid to get in for 3 people and $14.00 for parking. I have been to many music museums throughout the country. The one in Seattle puts this one to shame. I mean you just inducted Def Leppard in 2019 and yet nothing. I mean the 80s were huge for Rock Stadium shows and nothing… How is Katy Perry Rock???? Or a host of others? If this is suppose to be the “Rock Hall of fame” you have missed the mark and should change it to music hall of fame. How about cutting the gift shop in half and adding more exhibits. I mean the very top floor had only 4 artists, all guitarist. I watched more people walk up take a few seconds to look around and then went right back down the spiral staircase. No linear flow at all. So much space to Elvis, why? I get his contributions to rock and roll but not that much space. I could go on but i feel I have bashed enough. I feel very let down. You really need to go duplicate some ideas from the County Music Hall of fame. Now that’s a museum.
