Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
Get that front row feeling for highlights of 30+ years of induction ceremonies. This epic hall of fame pays homage to our inductees through an immersive concert-quality production and a space for fans to share their own stories. Another milestone being celebrated is 50+ years since the start of Rolling Stone Magazine, the counterculture start up that rose to the top by covering the cross-section of music, politics and pop culture. Here's a short list of our permanent, featured exhibits that help us show off our collection: • Roots of Rock & Roll • The Beat Goes On: an interactive exhibit to show who influenced your fav band • Elvis • Legends of Rock: featuring Guns N' Roses, David Bowie, the Supremes, Metallica, Michael Jackson, Parliament Funkadelic and many more • Cities and Sounds: Motown, Psychedelic, Punk, Grunge... The unmistakable styles that put cities across the country and across the pond on the musical map. • The Beatles • The Rolling Stones • Jimi Hendrix

Huge. We're there 2 and a half hours and only got through the first two floors. Was kind of crowded. Said on website to purchase tickets in advance to help with social distancing but there were still a lot of people. Couldn't get through the whole thing. Lots of musical pop culture influences. Have a better appreciation for artists like Elvis, now. Great food in the Cafe and huge gift shop.

Great memorabilia and videos. Music of our era. Spent a good three hours there. Would go back again to experience the hands on instruments.

We purchased tickets for Tuesday and Thursday and we are glad we did. There are so many wonderful exhibits that it took us 2 days to view everything. Many films clips of the singers/bands performing. They have plaques by all the performers that provides excellent background stories, plenty of pictures, hand written compositions of songs that were being composed, ie; "In My Life." The Beatles exhibit was the best. They have a 20 minute film about every album the Beatles composed with interviews from all the Beatles. The Elvis exhibit is also very good. Floor zero should be visited first. This is where most of the exhibits are. They also have interactive consoles that play songs from One Hit Wonders and Songs that influenced Rock and Roll. Easy to search by Artist or my song. We spent about an hour on this exhibit alone playing songs that we haven't heard in years. On Floor three, they have the plaques of every artist/band that has been inducted. They have a console where you can search and play the induction ceremony of every artist/band. The gift shop is nice but expensive. The All Access Cafe is a good place to eat. We stopped in here each day to rest our legs and have a bite. Prices are reasonable. We paid $12.00 for a Cheese Pizza. The building is shaped like a Pyramid with "LONG LIVE ROCK" printed in bold letters as you enter. It is a must to take a photo of this building at night. A good day to visit in the fall is Thursday when the closing time is extended from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. If you love Rock and Roll, you will love this place.
