A great day of climbing! I had not climbed in a few years, it was good spot to get back into it. Easy getting things booked with Clay. Justin was super nice, and helpful, excellent guide, I had a fun day.

Our guide Robbie was knowledgeable, personable, and friendly. We enjoyed his approach to adjusting his instruction to our skills, allowing us to experience challenges while guiding and keeping us safe. The terrain/routes were well chosen for our family! Notable was the ethics our guide, and other Ground Up guides, demonstrated when another climbing outfit posed some hurdles for us by pre-setting routes very prematurely. Our guide(s) were professional, educated us, and remained focused on a giving us a positive experience.

Ultimately, it's all about the guide, and Ground Up connected us with a great one. I made a request for a female guide to mentor my 13 yo daughter on her longest-yet multi-pitch climb up Crystal Crag, and it was a great day for us both. Smooth registration process and good communication throughout.
