Amazing experience from start to the end. Super friendly staff. Spoke to Clay over the phone and Robby was our instructor. Being a first timer I made 4 successful climbs. This was quite a highlight of our trip.

Great experience for our family. Robbie was an awesome instructor and very patient with our kids (9 and 11) We would definitely come back and use Ground Up Climbing Guides again.

Did a guided trad weekend with a small group with Clay. His climbing experience is extensive, but what’s even better is the entertainment. An important part about a guide for a weekend event like this is being a good host, and Clay is amazing. He brought home baked cinnamon rolls and a poop shovel which was great because I forgot mine. I learned a lot from him and he is a funny dude. If I was offered to learn from someone who had twice the experience (would be hard to find), I would still choose Clay strictly because of the entertainment value.
