I had the good fortune to celebrate my birthday with three of my closest friends on the Rocky Mountaineer traveling from Moab to Denver. This was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken. The team on our car was second to none. Olivia, Leigh, Paul, and Sabina made sure we were well fed, our cocktails were never empty, and provided great information about the spectacular scenery we saw. Sabina bent over backwards to cater to one of my friend’s keto diet. I cannot say enough about the experience and the hospitality of all the staff, both on board and off. This experience was so incredibly positive, we are already talking about exploring other Rocky Mountaineer lines. If you want a relaxing experience with stunning views and phenomenal food and drink, this is a must do.

Luxury train ride. Lots of room if you buy the Silverleaf Plus package; then you get 2 lounge cars to roam about besides your dining car. The staff was exceptional; Olivia, Leigh, Sabina Paul , and Neil were all wonderful! The food was like a 5 star restaurant, the drinks superb, and the service was beyond compare. And Leigh gives the best hugs! If you like salmon, and salmon is on the menu, get it. You won't be disappointed. We left the train stuffed. Besides breakfast, lunch and dinner, there were snacks like tacos, cinnamon rolls, petite fours, fruit, and in the lounge, popcorn and nuts. And the staff would drop everything to point out areas of interest and good photo ops.

We are celebrating our 41st anniversary. To celebrate, we decided to spend a week out west. We just finished the train portion of our adventure. I am from Florida. Everything about this trip amazed me. The scenery is spectacular. Olivia, Leigh and a third host (sadly I cannot remember her name) were very knowledgeable and shared information in an entertaining manner. Sabine, the chef, was wonderful, helping me stick to a gluten-free diet. She provided amazingly delicious options with no reminders needed. She stayed on top of it every meal. There are other behind the scene staff members, like Coach. He drives the bus getting us to and from hotels as well as moving the luggage from town to town. Neil, who makes sure you are aware of excursions and activities in town. Gabe, who makes sure equipment is working smoothly. The entire team creates an stress-free, comfortable and educational ride through two beautiful western states.
