Overview

Rides are available for all ages and skill levels from beginner to expert. Our horseback tours wind through some of the most beautiful scenery that southern Utah has to offer. Come explore trails taken by old west outlaws and enjoy a rare chance to see remnants of ancient Native Americans. Some trails are more rugged than others so for safety reasons we require that children must be at least 7 years old to participate.

I took the 1.5 hour trail ride and had Frank has our guide. It was only myself and one other rider, so we had more in depth info about the area from Frank. My horse was Lady and she was just wonderful. I have ridden horses before , but only once a year, so I still feel like a "beginner"..but the horses all were well-behaved and I felt extremely safe. The ride took us through some forested areas, then it opened up to a fantastic view of Bryce Canyon from the North Rim. So beautiful! While we rode, Frank gave us some history about the land and what wildlife and plantlife exist there. I would suggest this ride to anyone looking for a different experience ( other than hiking) and Frank was kind, patient and friendly tour guide! I actually did not want to get off my horse and should have purchased the half day experience.

Great trip! Guide was fun! Kids loved it. Would definitely go again. Great for young kids and teenagers.

My boyfriend decided to take me horse back riding for my birthday and i have to admit i was a bit nervous because i hadn't done this in a while. However we got the last ride at 3:30pm and it was a great day to ride because the weather was perfect. A nice gentleman explained all the rules and what the ride consists of and helped us strap on the horses. Another gentleman named Francisco was our tour guide and he was beyond amazing. He has been doing this for years now and he told us stories about the land and everything around us. He was extremely kind and polite he also has so much knowledge of the surrounding areas. he gave us several tips on what to visit around and he took us riding on the best views we could get. He truly made my birthday special he went over his job duties to make our ride special. My boyfriend and I were so pleased with our ride and i can truly say this was the best birthday gift ever. Amazing views, my horse Cherry made our ride special since she sure knew how to make us laugh. Thank you Francisco for giving us the best memories to cherish and for making our trip so delightful. I most definitely will be returning to ride again and recommend anyone who wants to enjoy a good horse ride with awesome views to visit RUBY'S HORSEBACK ADVENTURES.
