Saint Petersburg Eco Segway Tour

Overview

Spend a a few hours in Florida’s amazing nature on this fun, scenic and educational Segway tour. Following your small group and knowledgeable tour guide through downtown Saint Petersburg Historic District. Discover the area’s diverse nature and wildlife as you cruise along the palm tree-lined Tampa Bay seawall to view manatees and dolphins in their natural habitat. Then we will walk through 4 acres of Sunken Gardens, which is an exotic botanical garden that houses 50,000 tropical plants and flowers, flamingos, macaws, parrots and koi-filled ponds. Along the way, you’ll learn about local ecosystems from your tour guide through your personal headset receiver while taking in the views along this 12 mile Segway Eco Tour.

Tour includes admission into Sunken Gardens ($12 value), tour guide, Segway i2, helmet, headset receiver, bottle of water and 20 minutes of hands on training prior to the tour.

This was one of the funniest things me and my wife did while in st Pete’s. We had never been on a Segway before, but it was super easy to learn so it wasn’t an issue at all. Out tour guide was extremely knowledgeable of the areas history to include architecture, wildlife, plant life. Most amazing part was even though the weather was not great she still took us and when the sunken gardens decided to be closed on us, without skipping a beat, she took us to a spots she knew to see manatees. This is a must do item on a trip here, you won’t regret it.

We had a great time on the eco Segway tour in St Petersburg with Doos. Great way to view the beautiful bay and see nature, plus guide was very informative. This tour is a must do.

I have done two tours with Doo and both times were excellent! I went each time with a friend to celebrate a birthday and the trip did not disappoint! Full of scenery, information and fun, this is a great outing, even if you are a Tampa/ST pete resident! Highly recommend!!
