Overview

Spend a a few hours in Florida’s amazing nature on this fun, scenic and educational Segway tour. Following your small group and knowledgeable tour guide through downtown Saint Petersburg Historic District. Discover the area’s diverse nature and wildlife as you cruise along the palm tree-lined Tampa Bay seawall to view manatees and dolphins in their natural habitat. Then we will walk through 4 acres of Sunken Gardens, which is an exotic botanical garden that houses 50,000 tropical plants and flowers, flamingos, macaws, parrots and koi-filled ponds. Along the way, you’ll learn about local ecosystems from your tour guide through your personal headset receiver while taking in the views along this 12 mile Segway Eco Tour.

Tour includes admission into Sunken Gardens ($12 value), tour guide, Segway i2, helmet, headset receiver, bottle of water and 20 minutes of hands on training prior to the tour.

Louisa was a fantastic guide! After 15 minutes practise, we were all proficient in Segway handling and what a brilliant way to explore some fascinating parts of St. Pete’s including the magical ‘Sunken Gardens’. Our kids are 12 & 13 and they enjoyed every second of this trip, in fact they didn’t want it to end! I would highly recommend this trip, the experience was second to none. We can’t wait to try ‘Doo’s other tours.

This was a great way to see the downtown sights that you normally would not want to walk to. Our family signed up for the 2 hour tour with Kyle & we were the only ones on it. Kyle did not let us go out until we were comfortable learning how to manage a Segway. I was hesitant at first, but with a little time even this 65 year old found it easy to handle. Kyle was very informative with information about the downtown sights, landmarks & foliage in the park. We saw more than had we parked & tried to walk to everything. We got to know Kyle at a stop for a break & he was enjoyable to talk with. This company is highly recommended, espicially if you can get Kyle as your tour guide.
