Overview

Spend a a few hours in Florida’s amazing nature on this fun, scenic and educational Segway tour. Following your small group and knowledgeable tour guide through downtown Saint Petersburg Historic District. Discover the area’s diverse nature and wildlife as you cruise along the palm tree-lined Tampa Bay seawall to view manatees and dolphins in their natural habitat. Then we will walk through 4 acres of Sunken Gardens, which is an exotic botanical garden that houses 50,000 tropical plants and flowers, flamingos, macaws, parrots and koi-filled ponds. Along the way, you’ll learn about local ecosystems from your tour guide through your personal headset receiver while taking in the views along this 12 mile Segway Eco Tour.

Tour includes admission into Sunken Gardens ($12 value), tour guide, Segway i2, helmet, headset receiver, bottle of water and 20 minutes of hands on training prior to the tour.

My wife and I are still talking about our Segway adventure. This was by far our favorite memory of our visit to Florida. What a wonderful way to take in a beautiful city. We had never rode a Segway before but it s so easy to learn and so fun. We highly recommend Doo’s Amazing Tours. Tim and Angie Houck

you get a short training lesson about how to ride a Segway, which I was concerned about thinking you had to be very balanced to do and after the training in a parking lot found the Segway was sort of forgiving an easy to become a rider. Doo was a great teacher an had obviously be doing it for some time. She paid attention to our group to make sure we stayed together and safe all the while offering commentary on stuff we passed . We were told we rode 12 miles along the parks and St Pete shoreline where we seen dolphins , some small stingrays and fish. At the sunken gardens we saw many different flowers and bushes an trees. My daughter set this up for her mom as a birthday present and it hit a home run as a gift. She turned 62 and I'm 64 so as long as you have some balance don't be afraid to try it out. It was a great experience which I have no problem recommending.

Doo took time to help us get used to the Segway before we started. Then we had a great time tooling around. She is also great to take lots of pictures of us on our tour. She is knowledgeable and fun. Thanks Doo!
