Unlike any walking tour in Salem, the Forest Lore Tour takes you outside the heart of downtown and into one of the few remaining wild places in the area, where you learn from a practicing Witch, what it means to experience real magic, why nature is so important, and how to incorporate ancient knowledge into modern life.

Wear your hiking boots and bring your curiosity! This is a one-mile, guided hike that takes to you the crossroads of science, history, and philosophy in Salem Woods. Rain or shine, but we can't operate in snow due to trail conditions.

Despite a windy day it was lovely walking the forest. The mushroom witch is knowledgeable and a great guide. She takes time to explain the history of the forest and the uses of different flora and fauna. Worth your time and money to walk among the old Forest and learn about remedies the forest can give us.

The tour guide Uni was very knowledgeable about all things plants, fungi, witches, and Salem’s history. This was a fun tour that allows for some fresh air and forest bathing and made you notice more about the forest’s surroundings. Highly recommend for nature lovers or those wanting to learn more!

Wonderful hike, away from the hustle and bustle of Salem proper. A safe, educational, and respectful walk, Uni is open to answering questions of any kind dealing with mushrooms and Wicca. A truly fascinating experience.
