Unlike any walking tour in Salem, the Forest Lore Tour takes you outside the heart of downtown and into one of the few remaining wild places in the area, where you learn from a practicing Witch, what it means to experience real magic, why nature is so important, and how to incorporate ancient knowledge into modern life.

Wear your hiking boots and bring your curiosity! This is a one-mile, guided hike that takes to you the crossroads of science, history, and philosophy in Salem Woods. Rain or shine, but we can't operate in snow due to trail conditions.

Excellent tour that lets you see a part of Salem outside of the normal downtown area. Tour was super informative. Learned about history as well as the various plant life native to the area.

We did the forest tour on Wednesday Oct 12. WE LOVED IT. I was feeling very drained from crowds and this is exactly what I needed. Uni was so knowledgeable, calming and an all around amazing tour guide. I can not recommend this tour enough.

My travel mate booked this tour for us while I was driving and I had no idea what to expect - but we 110% recommend this tour! We loved hiking with a witch in Salem Woods in the beautiful weather whilst learning about the vast offerings of the forest. I honestly wish the tour was longer as I am now very eager to learn more! Thank you!
