Unlike any walking tour in Salem, the Forest Lore Tour takes you outside the heart of downtown and into one of the few remaining wild places in the area, where you learn from a practicing Witch, what it means to experience real magic, why nature is so important, and how to incorporate ancient knowledge into modern life.

Wear your hiking boots and bring your curiosity! This is a one-mile, guided hike that takes to you the crossroads of science, history, and philosophy in Salem Woods. Rain or shine, but we can't operate in snow due to trail conditions.

Uni was great, she's incredibly knowledgeable about the local plants and I left with a greater understanding as to the benefits of using plants for medicinal purposes.

Had a BLAST! Our guide knew so much and it was so much fun to hear new information about the earth around us. I thought it was kind of funny though that there were like three other Minnesotans on the tour as well. Definitely wear proper hiking shoes though!
