Overview

Unlike any walking tour in Salem, the Forest Lore Tour takes you outside the heart of downtown and into one of the few remaining wild places in the area, where you learn from a practicing Witch, what it means to experience real magic, why nature is so important, and how to incorporate ancient knowledge into modern life.

Wear your hiking boots and bring your curiosity! This is a one-mile, guided hike that takes to you the crossroads of science, history, and philosophy in Salem Woods. Rain or shine, but we can't operate in snow due to trail conditions.

Uni was super friendly and a great guide. The walk was about a 1 mile around Salem woods. She was so knowledgeable about the the plant life and so great jokes!

Our guide Uni was so sweet and knowledgeable. You can really tell she has a love for nature, the environment and being a local Salem witch. She was great!

Had an absolutely great experience! Uni the Mushroom Witch was a great guide and very friendly and knowledgeable about what she does. She showed us many of the different plant species in the Salem Forest and taught us a lot about the uses of these plants. Definitely recommend her tour had a great time out on the trail.
