Unlike any walking tour in Salem, the Forest Lore Tour takes you outside the heart of downtown and into one of the few remaining wild places in the area, where you learn from a practicing Witch, what it means to experience real magic, why nature is so important, and how to incorporate ancient knowledge into modern life.

Wear your hiking boots and bring your curiosity! This is a one-mile, guided hike that takes to you the crossroads of science, history, and philosophy in Salem Woods. Rain or shine, but we can't operate in snow due to trail conditions.

Honestly it’s a rlly relaxing tour just being in nature and learning about mushrooms and magic. The Guide was super chill and nice they had some great food place recommendation afterwards can’t thank them enough for the experience!

This is the tour you take to refresh your family (and senses) from Salem Town's tourism hustle. The location and path were beautiful, fun, and offerred a much-needed breath of fresh air. Our guide was very kind and thoughtful, giving good background on local plants and fungi, as well as general ecology for the area. A few things to make this tour even better: 1) download an app to assist in distinguishing plants and mushrooms -or- make sure your phone is ready to snap pics, and jot down the names. You'll be interested in learning more about them. 2) learn what stores in town sell herbs, plants and botanical items. You'll might want to include them in your tea or coffee while in Salem (we like Artemisia Botanicas).
