Unlike any walking tour in Salem, the Forest Lore Tour takes you outside the heart of downtown and into one of the few remaining wild places in the area, where you learn from a practicing Witch, what it means to experience real magic, why nature is so important, and how to incorporate ancient knowledge into modern life.

Wear your hiking boots and bring your curiosity! This is a one-mile, guided hike that takes to you the crossroads of science, history, and philosophy in Salem Woods. Rain or shine, but we can't operate in snow due to trail conditions.

Our guide was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and kind, The stops she made along the way were informative, and we learned about several plants and their uses, history of the forest we were in, and background info on what it means to be a witch in today's world. We happened to get a perfect afternoon for this event. It was a great way to spend the afternoon. Highly recommend.
