Unfortunately, my tour was cancelled about 5 minutes after it started. And, because our flight home was the next day, we didn’t get to do a ghost tour. While we’re supposed to receive a full refund, the lack of communication and confusion really put a damper on our night. Our tour guide just started to tell the first story and then abruptly left. Initially he said we would be rescheduled for later that night but then some members of our group received a text we would just get a refund because the other groups were too full. We could tell something serious had happened, but in the chaos of Salem in October, the situation could/should have been handled better. I cannot recommend Salem Ghosts, but I would recommend scheduling your tour for earlier in your visit to Salem in the event this happens again and you can still get a ghost tour in before you leave.

The Ropes Mansion. Nate spoke loud and was very informative. Added plus was his personality. The walk wasn’t too bad. Nate really knew his Salem history facts. I definitely think the town of Salem should ban motorcycles. They are extremely loud and annoying when tours are going on. Nate tried to talk over them and lightened the mood when they were revving up the engines at a red light. All in all our experience was wonderful.
