The 3-day hop-on/hop-off is an efficient way to get around San Antonio. We did the entire tour the first day, and the other two days used the bus to get where we wanted to go. Therefore, we had several drivers/guides. They were all good in their own right, and each one gave a little different twist to the information. The river cruise and Tower of the Americas were enjoyable. Overall, this was a tremendous bargain for the price.

San Antonio is hot! Parking is limited and expensive. For getting around San Antonio, this is the best bang for your buck! Our tour guides were all wonderful, entertaining and knowledgable about the area. The upper deck is fun in the morning and lower AC is welcomed after lunch. River cruise was great! Tower of Americas was fun!

We decided to do the Hop-on Hop-off bus tour to get a feel for the area. The person selling the tickets recommended doing the one hour loop then go back to what we wanted to explore. That was a great idea. We did the 2 days, get the 3rd day free plus the boat tour. It was hot, the air in the first bus was not working. We sat at the top of the open air bus and the breeze helped. The guides are pretty funny and informative. The first day we visited the Alamo and did the Riverboat cruise. The next day we returned and did The Mercado, Tower of the Americas and ended at The Pearl. The last day we did a quick trip to Auggies BBQ. The tours are ran well. One star off for the hot bus...lol. He took it out of service after our trip. I would recommend this for someone who has never been to San Antonio, TX.
